4. How We Store Your Data

Your submitted information is stored securely on our web hosting server (Bluehost, USA) in JSON format in a protected folder that is not publicly accessible. Photos you upload are stored in a secure uploads folder on our server. We take reasonable technical precautions to protect your data from unauthorised access.

5. Google Sheets Integration

When you submit a listing or enquiry, your information may be sent to a private Google Sheet accessible only to our site administrators. This is done to help us manage submissions efficiently. Your data is not shared with Google for advertising or any other purpose beyond secure storage in your submission record. Google's own privacy policy applies to data stored in Google Sheets — you can review it at policies.google.com/privacy.

6. Email Notifications

If you submit a listing, we will send you one email notification when your listing is reviewed — either to confirm approval or to request changes. We do not add you to any mailing list or send marketing emails without your explicit consent. You will not receive unsolicited emails from us.

7. Photos You Upload

Photos submitted with your listing are displayed publicly on NewPlaceAlert.com as part of your listing. By uploading a photo you confirm you own it or have rights to use it, and you grant us permission to display it on our website. If you wish to have a photo removed, contact us and we will action your request within 7 days.

8. Third-Party Services

Our website uses the following third-party services:

• Google Fonts — For typography. Google may collect basic usage data. See Google's privacy policy for details.
• Unsplash — For placeholder listing images. No personal data is shared with Unsplash.
• Bluehost — Our web hosting provider. Standard server logs are maintained by Bluehost.

9. Cookies

NewPlaceAlert.com uses a minimal session cookie for the admin panel login only. This cookie is not used to track visitors and is not shared with any third party. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or behavioural analytics cookies. If you are a regular visitor to our site, no cookies are stored on your device.
